Meet Jackson
Jackson is 13 years old. This is his second book.
It took just over four years to write and illustrate. He loves to draw, play video games, soccer, and write creatively. He despises writing essays.
He greatly appreciates everyone who has patiently awaited this sequel. Jackson lives in New Jersey with his family and two cats, Maggie and Tyrone.
ORIGIN STORY OF OW: MAY 2021
I came up with the character, Ow, after I went to an animation class at my local library. I learned how to animate using an app. called Flipaclip. I was a beginner, so I made my animations with stick figures. I started creating funny animations with my stick figures and I came up with a character named, Ow. After awhile, I started making different animated stories about him.
I have loved to draw since I was basically a baby and love to read all types of books. This year I got really into writing stories. My teacher, Mrs. Crawford taught me how to write detailed stories at school. I really enjoyed writing using narrative, so I started working on more of those stories at home. I thought it would be cool to write my own book based on my Ow animations. It was a lot of fun and I just kept going. I had to go back and read and edit my story so many times to have it make sense and get rid of mistakes. I did all of the illustrations using Flipaclip too! I have worked on this every day for months and months. I am happy that I am finally able to share my story and illustrations with all of you. I hope you like it!
